Happy Birthday Kelci

Our little baby is now 2 years old.  She is growing up fast.  I miss being able to leave her on the floor and not worry about her going anywhere.  If she is quiet you know she is into something.  Can't turn our back on her for long.  We have enjoyed watching her learn new things.  I have tried to get a video of her singing her ABC's but no such luck.  She gets to shy.

Cleaning up the wrapping paper.  As she is cleaning up she is saying "clean up mess, clean up mess."  We didn't even ask her to do so.  Have we taught this girl well or what.  You make a mess, you clean it up!

Snow in September

NO you are not seeing things.  We are getting snow in the middle of September.  It wasn't much but enough to get a light dusting on the picnic table.  I have a feeling its going to be a cold snowy winter.

Balloon Night Glow

We had the opportunity to go down to Colorado Springs to attend a hot air balloon night glow.  I haven't ever been to one so I was amazed and how big hot air balloons are.  Kelci was a little scared at first but then got use to it.  Towards the end of the show out of no where the wind picked up.  All of the sudden we hear someone screaming "GET OUT OF THE WAY."  We look up and the balloon we were standing next to was coming down and coming down fast.  For a second we were all scared for our lives but after we reached safety we got quite the kick out of it.
