Hair styles

I have enjoyed Kelci having hair.  After her bath Nathan will give her beautiful hairdos.  I can't wait till it gets longer so I can actually do something with it.  She has these long strands around the ears and it looks funny so I want to cut it but Nathan wont let me, and I can't cut it myself since she wont sit still.

Smiles

Kelci is always full of smiles.  I tried to get a video of her talking/giggling but of course every time I pull out the camera she stops.  I will keep working on getting a video for everyone.
I did get a video of her chewing her cud.  Sometimes its just her tongue she chews on but we did notice the other day that she will spit up and if its chunky she will chew on it for awhile before swallowing it.

Washington

We had the opportunity to go to Washington to watch my niece and nephew while my sister Nicole and her husband Rick went to Hawaii.  As much as I wished we went to Hawaii with them we had a wonderful time watching Blake and Ashlyn.  It was nice to be able to get to know Blake and Ashlyn better since we don't get to see them often.

One of the days we got the kids up and ready for school to find out (once we dropped them off) they were on a 2 hour delay due to the icy roads.  It had rained all night so the roads were solid ice.  Since we had 2 hours to kill we took the kids out to play on the ice.  We started by just sliding on our feet, then it was Ashlyn's idea to pull out the boggie boards and saucer.  Here are a couple videos we took.

Kelci got to join in the fun as well!  I wish we could have gotten it on camera but she was full of smiles while Nathan pulled her down the drive way.
Kelci adored Ashlyn and Ashlyn adored her.  Ashlyn was always wanting to help feed her (although half way thru she would give up because her arms would get tired) and play with her.  She was a big help to keep Kelci entertained.
Nathan and Blake had a good time playing basketball with each other.

Thanks Nicole and Rick for letting us enjoy a week with your kids.  We would do it again in a heartbeat! (That goes for all my siblings as well)
