Easter

This year we took Kelci to the community Easter egg hunt.  She had a blast.  I was afraid I was going to loose her because she was running around everywhere picking up eggs and there were A LOT of people.  I eventually told Kelci she had to stop so other kids could get some.  One of the girls from school, Olivia, came with us and I think she had more fun helping Kelci then she did finding her own eggs.

Checking out the goodies with Olivia
Nathan's mom saw on pinterest a new way to dye eggs.  Instead of having to deal with the cups of water, you put some rice in a cup and add food coloring to it.  Add the egg to the cup, cover then shake.  It is really nice for younger kids.  That way they don't make a mess with the water. I should have taken a picture of the final product.  It gave the eggs a speckled look which I liked a lot better then the solid color

Kelci enjoying her goodies she received in her Easter basket.  She has been obsessed with the movie Frozen so therefore she had a "Frozen" Easter.
The Easter bunny was kind enough to leave Kelci some eggs to find around the house

We enjoyed Easter dinner with the Wrights.  Off course Pam had to spoil Kelci and give her an Easter basket and set up and Easter Egg Hunt in the back yard.  Kelci was in seventh heaven running around their backyard finding eggs.  Every time she found an egg she had to open it right then and there.  She couldn't grasp the concept that if we open them inside the candy and money wont fall everywhere.
