Thorne Family: January 2015

We were shopping at Sams Club and happen to run into Julius Thomas, a Bronco player. He was there shopping for Toys for Tots. He was nice enough to stop and talk with Kelci and give her the giant frog. He was a very nice gentleman and was more then willing to sit and talk with people instead of ignoring them and rushing to get the shopping done just because he had to.

We had the opportunity to spend Christmas with Nathans family. It was nice because all of the siblings were there. It was one BIG party! Kelci is at the age where she enjoys opening presents so it was a lot of fun to see her get excited.

What's in the stocking???

Kelci with her baby Santa gave her. As always we couldn't get her to look at camera or even stand next to baby.

Before the kids had to go to bed Christmas Eve they were able to make cookies for Santa. We forgot to leave food for the reindeer so Santa left a note asking us to please leave some for next year because they get very hungry with all the traveling.

Nathan, Connie, and Eric went to the mountains to cut down a tree this year. It was 18 feet tall. It fit perfectly into the house.

Kelci was able to meet Santa at Cabela's. She got so excited when she saw him. I am glad she hasn't been one of the kids that scream when they sit on his lap.

Reiney The Elf

We had a special elf come visit our house for December. Kelci wanted to name her reindeer so we called her Reiney for short. Kelci has a blast with her. She was so excited every morning to see what Reiney was doing. Here favorite was when Reiney went to the potty on her potty. She laughed pretty hard and then talked about it every time she went potty. Right before Reiney went back to north pole to help Santa deliver presents she left Kelci a present. It was a pair of PJ's and of course Reiney was on them. Those are now Kelci's favorite PJ's and would rather wear those instead of Minnie.
