Thumb Sucker
I think we might have a thumb sucker!!! She doesn't do it every time but every once in awhile you will go check on her and she will have it in her mouth.
Play time
Kelci loves to play on her mat. At the top is a mirror where she can see herself kick the piano at the bottom. We have learned to make her wait at least an hour after she has eaten to play on it cause she will get kicking and swinging her arms so fast she will make herself throw up everywhere and then she laughs about it. She will get smiling so much she forgets to kick and then will get mad cause the music and lights stopped. It will take her a minute to realize she's the one that makes the music and start kicking again and starts to smile then the whole process starts over again. Eventually she gets mad enough and starts screaming until you take her off. Crazy girl!!!!

Santa
Blessing Day
We had the opportunity to bless Kelci this week in church. She behaved during the blessing and didn't cry at all (unlike the baby before her who screamed the whole time).
Kelci had the opportunity to wear my blessing dress from when I was a baby. We had a wonderful friend who made a new slip to go with dress. As you can see in the picture (I hope you can see it) our friend embroidered Kelci's name and the date of the blessing on it. I had no idea she was putting that on but I loved the fact that she did.
Grandpa McDowell with Kelci. A few days before the blessing my dad informed me that he was unable to attend blessing because work was so chaotic . I was heart broken. The morning my mom was ready to drive down, my dad called her (while at work) and told her he was on his way home and will be able to go with her so don't leave. They didn't tell me he was coming so when they pulled up that evening I was shocked but VERY excited to see him. My mom took this picture and made a thank you card from Kelci for dad's employees to thank them for allowing him to attend the blessing.

Little Helper
Our four year old nephew Evan LOVES Kelci and always wants to help with her so I decided to let him feed her. He was in 7th heaven so now every time he sees her he always wants to feed her. My next goal is to get him to change her diapers :)
Ready for work
Nathans brother is a volunteer firefighter and we were over at his house the other day and Nathan decided to put Eric's work boots on Kelci. Give her a little helmet and jacket and she is ready to fight fires!
Homer Simpson
As many of you know Nathan is a fan of the tv show The Simpsons. While pregnant we had an ultra sound and in it she looked like she had a Homer mouth. I kept praying she didnt come out with a Homer mouth but as you can see my wish did not come true. Nathan calls her his little Homer baby.
