Tumbling Class

Back in December a lady that Nathan knows at work suggested taking Kelci to a tumbling class that she teaches at the rec center.  When she first asked Kelci didn't even know how to walk so I said there is no way she could do a tumbling class but Heather said she has 6 month old kids that come.  So now that she walks I decided to take Heather up on her offer (she offered it for free) and put Kelci in one.  The first two weeks Kelci just wanted to sit and watch the other kids, which was actually very entertaining cause she would just laugh at them.  She is definitely the youngest one in the group.  Most of them are 2 years old.  The class is really just a time for the kids to run around.  None of them are willing to work on their tumbling.  I can get Kelci to do it at home but not during class.  She has a BLAST with it so I don't care that she just wants to play.  It's a great opportunity to play with kids outside of church.

Oh......as you can see in the pictures Kelci now lets me put her hair up in little ponytails.  I just recently cut it because the back grows like crazy but the sides never do.  Although I did take a little off sides because a lady in our ward who is a hair stylist told me to keep trimming it to help it grow faster.  We will see if it works.

Her favorite thing is the ball pit.  She still has a hard time standing up in it so it is quite entertaining to watch her try.

She loves the music time at the end of class.  She thinks she is hot stuff when she gets to play the drums.  Like father like daughter I guess

You're suppose to work on log rolls on this mat, which she will do first couple times, but prefers to slide down it instead

  1. How fun! I can't believe how big she is getting. Bailey is excited to start gymnastics next month like Ryleigh.
